An English version (the formal entries calendared, all other entries translated in full) of the fair copy made c. 1416 and added to between 1416 and 1423. Compiled by Robert Hylle, and one of the comparatively few cartularies concerned with secular estates – in this instance scattered through Devon and Somerset – the cartulary has several documents bearing on the history of Burtle Priory (transcribed, Latin, in an appendix).
