Volume 99 is now available. This volume brings together names of men ordained in the Bath and Wells diocese between 1465-1526 that had been omitted from the previously published registers. Just under 3,000 men are listed in the volume, some multiple time as their clerical career progressed. Additional details, such as the ordinands home diocese, city of origin, community, religious house or Oxford college are also given. This practice was not adopted in neighbouring dioceses of Exeter and Salisbury, so this volume provides valuable evidence of the locations of family names across the south-west. Most individuals came from the Bath and Wells area, but a significant portion came form Exeter, Worcester, Llandaff and Salisbury.
